Becoming a business coach
At the age of 44 after a successful career in senior commercial roles with large companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, Matthew Clark PLC and H.P Bulmer PLC and latterly being the MD of two large Limited companies - I was getting the urge to start my own business. I was good at developing strategy and implementing them to grow the profitability of the companies I worked for. I was recognised as a strong leader of teams and encouraging them to be the best they could be. So, the ideal business for me to create was to help Business Owners achieve ever greater success. Hence, I set up my own business within the worlds largest Business Coaching franchise – ActionCOACH. This is where I first met Emerson – the founder of Bright Business Advice. Little did I know that we would work together again in later years.
